hiya! you have no idea how happy I am to be writing here again! i love this space so much just to be able to share what’s been on my heart!
I have felt so far, but so near Jesus at the same time. I have felt so near to him through good company, but at the same time, so far because I don’t let myself have a minute to sit in his presence.
while juggling school, a new job, and everything else that comes with being a 16 yr old girl, I haven’t been alone with my own thoughts in awhile. . we alll know the saying “idle hands make the devils workshop,” but I think the devils workshop can also take place in the busyness of life. ( i may have just made up a word oops)
annyyywayssss, my point is this: it is so easy to get lost. lost in the hurry. lost in the noise. so lost you never have the chance to look up. that loud, hurried place is satan’s favorite way to make me feel miles away from god.
I’m starting to realize I’m not as far as i think. he has been running after me in all of this hurry and never lost his breath once. he was made to run this crazy race with me. and you.
this advent season, slow down, catch your breath, and be present. don’t let the enemy win.
