hi friends! happy new years!
this year i have chosen a word to define how i want to live out this year and that word is trust. i am going to put all my faith in my savior and know that he is good.
I was watching a movie and this movie, (instant family) showed me a very accurate description of how audaciously god loves each of us. The daughter in the movie, ran away and her parents CHASED after her. her words back were ” i am not good enough, I have done too much to not deserve your love.” she also said she was “too messy,” which is a so very relatable. her parents told her, ” we want your mess.” the daughter wept because she knew this to be true.
this scene is the sweetest representation of our Father. of how much god wants your mess and my mess. this year i am deciding to trust that he can handle my mess and more importantly, he WANTS it. i hope you decide to take on this challenge with me too!
